I visited to 71th Tokyo Debian Benkyokai in last sunday (18th Dec,2010)
(The words is 'Benkyokai' is a Japanese popular term, which means a meeting held by amatures who are interested in the specified topics.)

The main topics in this meeting,

  1. The result of pre-assignment of this meeting.
  2. The summary of activities of meetings in this year, making topic lists of next year, and discussing about the future of debian/computer technologies.
  3. Using libsane.
  4. CACert primer.
  5. How about holding debian miniconf?

The topic 2. was very excited for me. I beleve discussing about the future makes the good motivation of contribution.
The topic 3.(""Using libsane"") has a funny original presentation title. The original title is "Oreno libsane ga hi-wo-fukuze!", directly translate (I think), "Almost busting fire my libsane!" Recently among Japanese male geeks, when they want to express the proud of something they own, they likely to use this phrase (Ex. If they would proud their debian box, they might say "Oreno debian ga hi-wo-fukuze!")

Anyway I had a great time in this meeting.
